Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Technology Horizon Blueprint, identifying breakthrough opportunities across AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT-caliber engineers and futurists
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, ESA, and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Author quarterly whitepapers on disruptive technologies for the World Economic Forum
- Oversee the implementation of $50M+ experimental research initiatives
- Mentor a team of 10+ PhD-level futurists and innovation strategists
- Represent Nexus Horizons at Davos, TED, and Singularity University summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 10+ years in C-suite strategic planning with unicorn-scale tech companies
- Published author in Nature or Harvard Business Review on technological forecasting
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (3+ exits >$1B)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, and computational modeling languages (Python/R)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain Level 5 government research credentials
