Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate future-ready technologies into core business operations
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to identify emerging innovations
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for disruptive market shifts
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor a team of innovation analysts and junior futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
