Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and investors to secure buy-in and resources
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to drive innovation ecosystems
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks impacting future technology adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business with 5+ years in tech innovation or strategic planning
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends and translating them into actionable roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to articulate complex futuristic concepts
- Certification in innovation management or technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, FTI) preferred
