Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech, and AI ethics to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market disruption forecasts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions (e.g., AR interfaces, climate tech)
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech labs for emerging technology validation
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and long-term scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism roles with demonstrable impact on tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Proven experience developing strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models
- Strong background in translating complex concepts into executive-level business strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy (white papers, keynotes)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-focused projects launched in the last 5 years
