Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, societal trends, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic frameworks that align product development with future human needs and technological capabilities
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate foresight into roadmaps and decision-making
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Lead innovation workshops to cross-pollinate ideas across departments and identify transformational opportunities
- Monitor global policy, ethical considerations, and sustainability factors impacting future business models
- Represent the company at industry forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives based on future forecasting
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFt, from Association of Professional Futurists)
